Pawp's Emergency Protection is an optional coverage plan that provides up to $3,000 for one unexpected, life-threatening medical situation annually. This financial protection can be applied to any of the six pets (cats and dogs) on your account, but can only be used once per year for one pet per account.
Pawp's Emergency Protection can provide up to $3,000 back in the event of an emergency. It can be used once a year per household (up to 6 pets). There's a 14-day wait period for each pet you add to your household from the date the coverage is purchased before it becomes available.
You can manage up to 6 pets in your household that will be covered under the Emergency Protection. Each pet added will be subject to the 14-day waiting period before coverage begins. If you remove a pet and wish to add them again, they will need to complete another 14-day waiting period.
The Emergency Protection cannot be used to cover an emergency that exists before signup or that develops during the waiting period.
Emergency Protection Holders: If you cancel your base membership, the Emergency Protection will continue to be billed until the end of your current membership year, unless you cancel it.
