In order to connect to a video call, you'll need to enable video and audio on your device. If it's your first time connecting to a video call on Pawp, an automated prompt will ask you to enable both of the these before connecting you. Select "Allow" for both, and you'll be connected to the next available veterinary professional.

If you have accidentally disabled either your video or audio and are unable to connect to a call, please following the below instructions:

Google Chrome

  1. Go to a site that wants to use your camera and mic.

  2. Click the security status icon to the left of the web address.

  3. Choose Allow for your camera and microphone.

Mac

  1. Go to Apple menu

    > System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy tab.

  2. Unlock (click) the lock icon in the lower-left to allow you to make changes to your preferences.

  3. Click Camera in the left sidebar and then select the checkbox next to an app that needs camera access.

  4. Click Microphone in the left sidebar and then select the checkbox next to an app that needs mic access.

Windows

  1. Go to Start menu > Settings > Privacy.

  2. Click Camera in the left sidebar and then turn on access for the app that needs to use the camera.

    • If this option is grayed out, make sure Let apps use my camera hardware is turned on.

  3. Click Microphone in the left sidebar and then turn on access for the app that needs to use the mic.

    • If this option is grayed out, make sure Let apps use my microphone is turned on.
