After starting a video chat with the Pawp Team, your computer or smartphone will launch the camera interface. You'll see our friendly Pawp Veterinary Professional on the other end as well as a smaller view of your own camera. You can then start chatting with the veterinary professional like any other chatting platform.

Since most smartphones feature front and rear cameras, the video chat platform may default to your front-facing camera. Fortunately, you don't have to complete the video consultation with that awkward point of view. Changing your video (or even your audio) source couldn't be easier!

Step 1: Click the small arrow button at the bottom left of your screen next to the camera icon.

Step 2: You'll see 2 options - Front Camera and Back Camera. These may vary depending on your device. Select the camera view you'd like to use for your consultation. The platform will then change to the camera view selected to complete the video consultation.

Using the back facing camera is particularly useful when our professional asks to see your pet.

Pro tip: You can also change the audio source in this menu to switch between your device's microphone or a Bluetooth headset/earphones.
