The Pawp emergency fund does not provide coverage for medical negligence, whether intentional or unintentional.

If the Pawp vet team recommends routine or scheduled care, and you fail to follow up on the recommendation, then the emergency fund will not apply for that incident. Delaying recommended medical care for a time-sensitive situation can create an unnecessary emergency for your pet, and this is considered a form of negligence.

The emergency fund will not cover emergencies that exist at the time of signup or that arise during the 14-day wait period. Treatment in such situations will not be covered or reimbursed, so please seek immediate medical attention for your pet.

Medical emergencies will not be covered by the Pawp emergency fund in cases where the treating vet identifies signs of physical abuse.
