There is a mandatory 14-day wait period for each pet post sign-up for the Emergency Fund. Unfortunately, we cannot cover an active emergency that exists at the time of sign-up nor can we reimburse any emergencies that occur before the 14-day wait period is over. This period cannot be modified or adjusted in any way.
We'll send you an email notification when each pet's waiting period is over and your Emergency Fund is available for use. While there is a wait period for your fund, you will have instant access to Pawp’s 24/7 virtual care immediately after signing up, so you can talk to a veterinary professional in under one minute, anytime day or night.
Your Emergency Fund covers multiple pets under one plan. You can manage up to 6 pets in your household that will be covered. Each pet will be subject to the 14-day waiting period after they are added to your household before coverage begins.
Please note: If you cancel and then reactivate your Emergency Fund add-on, you will have another 14-day waiting period. If you remove a pet from your household and add them again, they will also be subject to another 14-day waiting period.
