The big picture:
A little prep goes a long way. Here’s what to expect before, during, and after your Pawp prescription visit.
📋 Before your visit:
Schedule your visit in the app.
Complete the required medical intake form—this gives the vet key info to help your pet quickly and effectively.
✅ Tip: The more details you give, the smoother the visit.
📲 Check-in process:
You’ll get a reminder + check-in prompt ~5 minutes before your visit.
Be ready: camera/mic on, pet with you, calm setting.
Check in fast to keep your spot—then wait in the virtual room with real-time updates.
Don't forget that your chosen time slot may include multiple appointments, which are handled on a first-come, first-served basis. You shouldn't have to wait more than a few minutes for your visit, though.
🎥 During the visit (≈10 mins):
Join the video call when notified.
Your vet will review your form, ask questions, and assess your pet.
If appropriate, they’ll issue a prescription.
🧠 Reminder: The vet decides if a prescription is needed.
📄 After your visit:
You’ll get a personalized care plan with:
• E-prescription (if applicable)
• Care instructions
• Visit transcript
💊 Use the care plan to order meds. At checkout, list ‘Pawp’ as the prescribing vet.
