How to validate your prescription on Pawp

After your pet’s prescription visit, your veterinarian may issue a prescription if it’s appropriate for your pet’s needs. To make sure you can access your pet’s medication as quickly and easily as possible, here’s what you need to know about validating your prescription on Pawp:

View your care plan for prescription details

If your veterinarian has prescribed medication, you’ll find all the necessary details in your pet’s personalized care plan in the Pawp app. Your care plan will include the prescription itself, as well as any additional instructions and information you’ll need to move forward.

Choose your pharmacy or retailer

Once you’ve viewed your care plan, you can navigate to your preferred pharmacy or retailer to fill the prescription. Your care plan may include a direct link to the medication, or you can take your prescription details to the pharmacy of your choice.

Provide Pawp as the prescribing veterinarian

At checkout, simply list “Pawp” as your prescribing veterinarian. The pharmacy will send the prescription request to Pawp, where your veterinarian will promptly validate and approve the prescription, ensuring everything is accurate and compliant.

Vet Clinic Name: Pawp

Phone number: +1-888-448-8990

You do not need to contact your pet pharmacy directly to send them a prescription. After you place your order, they will reach out to Pawp directly to verify the prescription in question. This process can take 12-72 hours.

Follow up if you have questions

If you have any questions or concerns about your prescription or need help with the validation process, you can initiate on-demand care directly through the Pawp app anytime 24/7. We’re here to support you every step of the way.
